Spending Nights at CID…London Mining Tom Tucker in US$125,000 Scam

Tom Tucker, former community relations officer of the London Mining company is presently spending uncomfortable nights at the CID in Freetown, as he is being investigated for the sum of $125,000 being monies he should have spent on community projects. The first of such huge amount was expected to have been spent on water wells for the people of Lunsar, Marampa and Pepel,

The long awaited telecommunication alleged criminal fraud and conspiracy case  filed by the state on behalf of the company against five Defendants, initially at the Magistrate Court and was later committed to the High Court has reached its final conclusion with a guilty verdict slammed on four of the Defendants, leaving one of them acquitted and discharged to walk the streets of Freetown as a free man.

The Mayor of the Freetown City Council, Mr. Herbert George Williams has found himself sandwiched between the devil and the deep sea finding ways and means to come out of this predicament and refund to his numerous debtors the sum of Seven Billion Seven Hundred and Twenty Six Million Six Hundred and Ten Thousand Leones he owes the Rokel Commercial Bank, the First International Bank and the Sierra Leone Commercial Bank.
